Our season is coming to a close. It has been a long, tough, and hard fought season for the Landsharks. We currently have two season games left. This weekend, Saturday 19th, we will be hosting the Hurricanes. The game is to be held on NAU's South Field Complex with a kick of 1 pm. All are encouraged to attend and cheer for the home team! Our last game will be on the road against Camelback (Saturday 26th).

Playoffs for DIII are still being determined with more updates to come.

As always we will be ending the season with a team banquet to be held at Collins Irish Pub in Flagstaff, AZ. Date and times tbd. Other social activities are in the works and will also be posted at a later time.

Practices continue to be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-8pm on NAU's South Fields. Even with the official season ending spring practices will still be held in order to prepare for the Fall season, mainly to reteach the basics to those he were thrown into the fire this previous year. Times and locations are not set in stone yet and will be determined by the board here shortly so be looking for another update. In the meantime come out and support the Landsharks as we hope to gain momentum going into the playoffs!!

2010-11 Season

Yes it's already that time of year. Rugby practice officially begins today, August 3rd, from 6-8pm on the South Fields on NAU's campus. If you're not in town yet, don't worry, as most of our players don't get back into town until the week before school starts. If you are in town, or are coming up soon, don't forget Flagstaff is in the middle of monsoon season. Assume it will rain at practice and prepare accordingly (trash bags, electrical tape, etc..).

Practice will be every Tuesday and Thursday on the South Fields until NAU's winter break. At that time we will move to once a week practice if we have numbers and "good" weather. After winter break, practice will resume it's regular schedule of Tuesday/Thursday, 6-8pm.

Note: Practice is ALWAYS on unless you hear from Coach Proctor or another veteran on the team. Never assume it's too cold, too snowy, or too rainy.

To celebrate Tom, Tuna, and Mingus's birthdays as well as Cory and Mike leaving for the Netherlands, we will be holding a little get-together this weekend. Stay tuned for details.
